At Skull Creek Ranch, our laying flock is built with intention. Every hen is selected for health, temperament, and beautiful egg-color genetics, then raised on pasture with a balanced diet that helps her thrive year-round.

 

Pasture Life at Its Best

Our hens spend their days on pasture, scratching, foraging, and soaking up the sunshine.  Where every day brings a fresh salad bar of grasses, seeds, and all the tasty bugs they can forage. Alongside their natural grazing, our flock enjoys a balanced ration and wholesome grains, giving them everything they need to stay healthy and produce rich, flavorful, nutrient dense eggs.

A Rainbow in Every Basket

Our flock includes Gold Laced Wyandottes, Ameraucanas, Easter Eggers, American Bresse and Buff Orpingtons. A combination that fills our baskets with a beautiful assortment of brown, blue, green, and speckled eggs. While the shells vary in color, the taste remains equally delicious.

Shell color doesn’t change taste, but it sure makes breakfast beautiful!
